The Anashe Tweed Vest is built around a fabric that does most of the talking. Woven from a cotton handloom jacquard, the cloth carries an ivory ground threaded through with slate blue, rust, dusty pink, and teal — a plaid that reads as quiet from a distance and intricate up close. The intentionally raw frayed edges at the neckline, armholes, and pocket trims are not an afterthought but a structural decision: they honour the handloom character of the cloth and give the piece a living, textural quality that machine-finished garments cannot replicate. Jewelled enamel buttons with green and gold detailing run down the centre front, providing a moment of refinement against the fabric's deliberate undone quality.
